How to change an Excavator pattern controls
1 Tonne Excavator
We’re sorry, these units have their control pattern set and they can’t be changed.
1.7 Tonne Excavator – Zero Tail Swing (Model U17-3)
On the left hand side of the foot plate there’s a hatch – lift the cover and move the lever.
1.7 tonne (non-zero tail) KX018-4, 2.5 tonne and 5 tonne
Near your right foot under the seat are two levers – a small lever that locks the bigger pattern selector lever. Disengage the small one and move the bigger lever to the other position.
