Self Levelling Laser Hire?
Our laser level hire isn’t “self levelling”. Here’s why.
* 15 seconds of twiddling the levelling knobs until the bubble is in the ring and the “out of level” light goes off is quicker than any “self leveling” laser level.
* Self levelling mechanisms may seem wonderful – but it adds another layer of complexity to the internals of the laser level to go wrong. In a race to set up a self levelling laser level, our manual laser levels are quicker.
* The Spectra LL500 is a top of the range accurate and long lasting laser that has been manufactured for 40 years with only a few cosmetic changes. They are the laser of choice of many concreting and construction companies with who have fleets of laser levels that give years of service as opposed to something with lots of bells and whistles without the build quality to hold it’s accuracy (which is kind of an important feature of a laser).

Simple one person operation.
- Supplied with tripod, staff and of course a receiver.
- Model Laser Level: Spectra LL500
- Operating diameter – 500 metres (ie set up in the middle of a 500 metre circle so max laser distance is 250 metres
- Accuracy: 1.5mm at 30 metres.
Note – these aren’t dumpy levels; a dumpy level (or automatic level) does pretty much the same thing as a laser level but it requires two people to use it; one to hold the staff and the other to look through the scope and take the readings. They do the same job – but are different machines.

How Our Hire Rates Work
Same Day Saver – Hire Rate for any hire that starts and finishes on the same day.
More than one day – All days charged at same day rate until weekly rate applies.
Weekend – Pickup Saturday am and return Monday between 6.00am 7.00am.
– 8 hours use per weekend.
Is this fair – we think so; you have 2 days to do your job and we keep our hire rates fair for those with small jobs – and those who have bigger jobs and need more hours are charged extra for the extra machine wear and tear.
If you have a larger job, it may be more economical to collect Friday afternoon and pay for 2 days – which includes 16 hours use.
NOTE:
Friday pick up anytime and return Monday before 7.00am = 2 x same day (unless we confirm the Friday after 4.00pm pickup with a text; then weekend rate applies).
Week – 7 day week
More than one week – Days over 1 week: 20% of weekly rate (i.e. week rate divided by 5).
Month – calendar month
Hour Metre Items – 8 hours per day/weekend, 40 hours per week, 160 hours per month; extra charges apply
